# TORKEN

> TORKEN is an AI-native parts catalog for real mechanical and robotic components. It pairs sourced specs and CAD with a hosted MCP server so agents can search, compare and download parts, then export STEP and specs to the CAD tool of their choice.

## Tools

- search_components: search by name, type, capability and spec range
- compare_products: compare 2–10 parts on selected specs
- get_product: full specs, variants, tests, provenance and files
- list_component_types: the catalog map
- list_spec_fields: valid filter keys
- get_thumbnail: product hero image
- get_preview_lods: progressive GLB preview meshes
- get_section: extrusion cross-sections and stock lengths
- download_files: download CAD/datasheets with sha256 checks
- catalog_info: catalog version and counts
- whoami: signed-in user, client and scopes
- get_more_tools: request additional tools when a task needs capabilities outside this list

## Hosted behavior

- Search, specs and metadata are unlimited.
- CAD and file downloads are limited to 100 files per account per UTC day. Quota is reserved before the MCP issues a download URL.
- Hosted downloads return short-lived URLs, not server paths. Fetch promptly; links expire.
- At exhaustion, download_files returns: Daily download limit reached. Try again after 00:00 UTC.
- Hosted tools take `context` (a short third-person sentence explaining why the tool is being called) and `llm_model` (the agent's model identifier) as analytics arguments.
