Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of torken.ai, the public MCP endpoint at mcp.torken.ai, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

TORKEN provides a catalog of mechanical and robotic parts, sourced specs, and CAD and datasheet files, plus a read-only MCP endpoint for AI clients. The Service is in preview. Features, data and availability may change or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee uptime, completeness, or that a part will remain in the catalog.

3. Accounts and handles

• Provide a valid email address and keep it current.
• Choose a handle that does not impersonate another person or brand.
• Keep your password secure and do not share your session.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may refuse or reclaim a handle that is reserved, misleading, or unlawful.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights;
• attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls;
• probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without permission;
• bulk-extract or redistribute catalog data except as allowed by the applicable license;
• upload malware, abusive content, or material you do not have the right to share;
• misrepresent an AI-generated design as professionally verified or certified.

5. Catalog data and intellectual property

The TORKEN name, site, and original content are ours. Product names, photos, datasheets and CAD files belong to their respective makers or licensors, and their licenses may impose conditions on use and redistribution. The catalog's provenance fields are there to help you check. You are responsible for complying with the applicable license.

We do not claim ownership of your prompts, designs, or files. If the Service later allows uploads or publications, you grant us the limited rights needed to host, display and back up that content.

6. Engineering and safety

The Service is a research and design aid, not professional engineering advice. Part data may be incomplete, unverified, or out of date. Before manufacturing, flying, or deploying anything, verify dimensions, loads, tolerances, materials, ratings, licensing and safety with the maker and a qualified engineer. You use the Service and any design at your own risk.

7. Third-party services

AI clients, CAD tools (for example SolidCraft or FreeCAD), Supabase and other third-party products have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, output, or handling of data. A link or integration is not an endorsement, and TORKEN is not affiliated with those projects.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TORKEN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, production, or business opportunity, arising from the Service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, or if we discontinue the preview.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at TORKEN's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms as the Service evolves; the date above is the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
