MCP / Remote server

Connect TORKEN to your agent.

One URL. OAuth sign-in. Real parts, specs and CAD for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code and any Streamable HTTP MCP host.

Sign-up required. You’ll approve access once. No API key or client secret.

Sign up. Add MCP. Build.

The first two can happen in either order. Your client asks you to sign in when it connects.

01

Create an account. Or add the client first — it will ask you to sign in.

02

Add MCP.

Use the command for your client below, or ask your agent to install it.

Add to your agent
03

Build.

Ask for a part by name or spec, compare candidates, then download only the files you need. Search is unlimited; downloads are 100 per account per UTC day.

Pick your client.

One command or one URL. Copy it, then sign in once.

Run this in your terminal.

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user torken https://mcp.torken.ai/mcp
Other Streamable HTTP clienthttps://mcp.torken.ai/mcp

What the agent can do.

Read-only catalog access. Search, compare, inspect, preview and download — never write.

ToolWhat it does
search_components

Search by name, type, capability and spec range.

compare_products

Compare two to ten parts on chosen specs.

get_product

Full specs, variants, tests, provenance and files.

list_component_types

The catalog map, with counts and groups.

download_files

Download CAD and datasheets with sha256 checks.

get_preview_lods

Progressive GLB previews for a product.

catalog_info

Catalog version and counts; cache by it.

whoami

The signed-in user, client and scopes.

No API key. One approval.

One consent screen, then the client manages the token. Nothing to paste, rotate or store.

Your MCP client discovers the OAuth server from the endpoint, opens TORKEN’s consent page, and receives a scoped token after you approve. The client refreshes it automatically.

Remove the connector in your client to stop access. The public endpoint is read-only and never writes to the catalog.

MCP client
  → https://mcp.torken.ai/mcp
  ← 401 + protected-resource metadata
  → https://torken.ai/oauth/consent
  → sign in → allow
  ← token
  → catalog tools

The usual suspects.

Most failures are a missing /mcp, an expired sign-in, or a connector that is off for the current chat.

No tools appear

Check that the URL ends in /mcp, restart the client, and confirm the connector is enabled for this chat.

The sign-in window doesn’t open

Allow pop-ups, use one browser profile, and sign in at torken.ai first.

“Needs authentication” in Claude Code or Cursor

Run the client’s auth step: /mcp → Authenticate in Claude Code, or Needs login in Cursor. In Codex, run codex mcp login torken.

A catalog query times out

Retry in a few seconds and narrow the query with component_type, specs or a smaller limit.
